Warranty information

At iScooter, we are dedicated to providing our customers with top-quality electric bikes and scooters designed for long-lasting performance. Our comprehensive warranty policy reflects our confidence in the durability and reliability of our products. Your purchase of our electric bikes comes with a 2-year warranty, while our scooters and hoverboards are covered by a 1-year warranty. This warranty ensures that any manufacturing defects or faulty components encountered within the warranty period will be promptly addressed, with repairs or replacements provided at no additional cost. Please keep your proof of purchase handy for reference during warranty inquiries. We aim to deliver worry-free riding experiences for our customers, standing behind our products every step of the way.

The warranty covers use during light rain and riding through puddles on the ground, but not soaking in water or exposure to strong rain for prolonged periods of time. Use in these conditions will invalidate the warranty.

Warranty period for wear and tear parts

Battery: Under normal conditions of use, battery failure, failure to charge, failure to discharge, low range (after a full charge, the standard weight 70kg test range is less than 50% of the range at the time of purchase), tested capacity is less than 60% of the rated capacity The warranty will be valid for 6 months for quality problems such as 60% of the rated capacity.

Motor: 6 months warranty for motor failure under normal use conditions.

Controller: 6 months warranty for failure of the controller under normal conditions of use.

Instrument: 6 months warranty for instrument failure under normal conditions of use. The warranty does not cover breakage of the instrument / instrument cover caused by external force or impact.

Tyres: 3 months for cracking and deformation caused by non-pneumatic tyres under normal conditions of use. 3 months. Pneumatic tyres are not covered by the warranty.

Brakes/brake grips/brake cables: 3 months warranty under normal conditions of use.

Accelerator / finger paddles: 6 months warranty under normal use

Horn/speaker: 6 months warranty under normal use conditions

Electronic lock: 6 months warranty under normal conditions of use

Notice: Please use the scooter in the correct way.
The warranty is invalid if the failure occurs in abnormal use.
If the below wear and tear parts are damaged and exceed warranty, please buy corresponding accessories to replace them on our website.

Non-Warranty Terms

1. Products purchased from an unauthorized retailer, or purchasing from a retailer that is distributing the product outside their authorized market;
2. Damage caused by improper packaging or mishandling during shipment for warranty service, used products, products that have been modified in any way;
3. Damage to the product from misuse and/or neglect, or from not adhering to the instructions in the owner’s manual, including but not limited to inappropriate use or incorrect maintenance and storage or signs of crash damage may invalidate a warranty claim.
4. Damage caused by overloading/excessive weight, attempting tricks, running into obstacles such as curbs, or walls, prolonged exposure to rain, and submersion in water;
5. Starting or stopping too quickly (over-accelerating /over-decelerating) exceeding the maximum speed of the product;
6. Climbing or descending hills too quickly;
7. Any electrical and/or material damage or breakage not stemming from a manufacturer defect;
8. The requested work is to repair normal wear and tear, surface or cosmetic damage.
9. The requested work is to repair consumable items which are not covered by the warranty.
